The theme of project is the relationship between people and nature in modern society. By analyzing this theme and creating a private relaxation platform I tried to change the mass culture approach to leasure in nature. The most common form of recreation inn nature in Lithuania are view towers, exploration trails witch are usually bad design examples and often lead to littering and ravaging of nature.
Every year even more of them are made and most of them are business centered. Most popular contemporary lifestyle and design trends are minimalistic architecture, ecological and long-lasting environment and interior solutions, responsible consumption. These tendencies are an inherent part of „green“ lifestyle, progressive mindset and everlasting initiative.
Forest is not only an economical unit, in 21‘st century it became also an important social recreational value. It is proven by the need of green-spaces in urbanistic environments. Lithuania is starting to get popularity for its „forest-bathing“ therapy which is mostly known in Japan. More and more people are choosing an ecological and nature friendly lifestyle. The constant spreading need of nature in environmental design led me to creating a recreational platform – object which would encourage ecological leasure time in nature.
Minimalistic objects interaction with nature will let people to directly empathize, see, hear and feel nature around them.
